This site is run by SMO, a band based in Dublin, Ireland. This page explains what we store on your device and what happens to any personal details you give us. We've kept it in plain English rather than legalese.
We use as little as we can get away with. Nothing that identifies you is stored until you either add something to your basket or buy something.
These are needed for the site to work at all, so they don't require consent.

If you press Accept All, we load Google Analytics so we can see roughly which pages people read and which shows get clicks. IP addresses are anonymised. If you press Essential Only, it never loads and no analytics cookies are set.
We use Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies beginning

tells us page views, roughly where in the world visitors are, and which
links get clicked — not who you are.

None of these are set unless you press Accept All, and IP addresses are anonymised before Google stores them.
Card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure page. Your card number is never entered on, sent to, or stored by this website. Stripe sets its own cookies on that page, which are covered by their privacy policy.
You can reopen the cookie banner at any time to change your choice, or clear cookies in your browser settings.
Order details are emailed to the band and kept in a private order log on the server so we can pack and post your order, and sort out any problems afterwards. That's the only thing we use them for. We don't sell your details, we don't share them with advertisers, and buying something does not put you on our mailing list — that's a separate, deliberate opt-in.
If you tick the box on the signup form, we keep your email address so we can tell you about shows, releases and merch. That's all we store: the address, the date you signed up, and the wording you agreed to.
We don't share the list with anyone and we don't use it for anything else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can just reply and ask — either way you're off it. The list is kept on our own server, outside the public website, and we hold it until you unsubscribe.
Order records are kept for six years, because Irish tax law requires us to hold on to sales records for that long. Your cookie choice lasts 12 months.
Under GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where we're not legally required to keep it). Email us and we'll sort it within a month. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
